I had the chance to speak to Angela about her product line and here is our interview.
Q. How did you start the Arigato Skincare Line?
My journey as a skin care specialist began over a decade ago. I suffer from extreme eczema and as a result, I chose Esthiology (the study and care of the skin) as a profession to help others as well as with my own personal healing.
I started the Arigato line in my facial room and officially launched the Arigato Holistic skincare line in 2009. I am also an esthetician and a Reiki Practitioner.
Q. Do you handcraft all your products?
Yes! Everything is made in small batches by me and my assistant.
Q. What do you like about your products?
That it is so clean and food oil based.
Q. What do you like about natural skincare?
I like natural skincare because its "chemical-free," but I honestly don't like how many extracts or essential oils are added to most natural skincare brands, which is why I founded Arigato. These can still be irritating for most people.
Q. Which product would you like our readers to know more about?
Our Black Out roller-ball is a great product! It can replace Neosporin for cuts and the Black Out can also be used for breakouts, bug bites, in-grown hairs and so much more. You skin will heal quickly with virtually no scarring.
Q. What is the one advice you would like to give to our readers regarding skincare?
DON'T CLEANSE! Unless you wear makeup there is no real reason to rub a bunch of ingredients on your face. The skin hates it! We do sell two very gentle cleansers, but these are primarily for people who use
makeup.

Instead, I recommend that you use an herbal water (such as Heli Water or Knock ‘Em Dead) from Arigato and follow up with one of the skin or body balms (Razzed, Black Out, Pumped or Rum Skin). The skin will be happy and glowing in one week no matter what your skin type. You won't need makeup anymore either! Most people ’freak’ when they find out I haven't used makeup or washed my face for 4 years; apparently I look like I do!
Q. What is your favourite essential oil and why?
Right now I'm really into Lime essential oil. It's so reviving and awesome for exhaustion which I have plenty of. Plus, it's kind of rare. I use Lime in olive oil for my bath and I use it in a vinegar water for cleaning my home and work space.
Sometimes, I'll just inhale it right out of the bottle! Yeeesss!
